Please Note: Some of our individualized & personalized services, such as the deeper dive appointments, compounded medications,  IV therapy,  & therapeutic injections, are fee-for-service & are not covered by insurance.

EXCLUDED SERVICES: 

Please note that our office is not able to manage or provide care related to motor vehicle accidents (MVA) or workers’ compensation cases. We also do not complete or provide disability evaluations or related paperwork.

 Yes, we offer a patient portal through NextGen, our electronic medical record system. 

If you have received a link to the portal but don't see it in your inbox, please check your spam or junk folder. The email will be from NextGen with the subject line "YourHealthFiles." 

The email invite will expire in 5 days and each patient will need their own unique invitation.  If you need an invitation resent please text or call 843-788-9970. 

Once you book your appointment, you will receive an invitation to access the portal if you haven’t already joined.

Through the portal, you can:

• View test results
• Communicate securely with our office

As a Nurse Practitioner in South Carolina, I am legally prohibited from prescribing Schedule II narcotics unless the prescription is for an acute issue. In such cases, the prescription is limited to a maximum of 5 days. This policy ensures compliance with state law and promotes safe prescribing practices. Thank you for your understanding.

• Examples of Schedule II narcotic substances include fentanyl, hydromorphone, meperidine, methadone, morphine, oxycodone, fentanyl, dextroamphetamine, methylphenidate, methamphetamine, pentobarbital, and secobarbital.

At Pure Wellness by Medicos, we offer access to a variety of laboratory services to help uncover the root causes of health concerns. 

Please note that laboratory tests are not free, but they are often necessary for accurate diagnosis and effective treatment. 

While we do our best to provide appropriate coding for lab orders, it is the patient’s responsibility to verify which lab companies are in-network with their insurance. Most insurance plans cover services from Labcorp and Quest Diagnostics, but some specialized tests may require alternative laboratories.

For a more in-depth evaluation, we have partnered with Boston Heart and other specialty laboratories. These advanced tests allow for a personalized approach to health management, providing easy-to-understand, individualized reports tailored to your unique needs.
